I once wrote about this but now that I tried to remember what my self-defense was, I couldn’t, ahaha :p

Maybe it has changed? Don’t know πŸ™‚

It takes time to build your self-defense mechanism and a little longer before it will run automatically anytime you experience a similar situation.

Usually our self-defense mechanism is to protect us from getting hurt.

When something inside of you feel like you might not be able to handle the pain, that is when your self-defense starts its mechanism.

Most likely this thing started to happen in your (early) childhood cause you were more vulnerable and fragile at that time and you didn’t get the comfort you needed from those around you so you were forced to comfort yourself.
